We are the World – Did you forget?

My friend recently shared a post saying that she was feeling tired of waiting to see the world become beautiful and kind.

I understand this point of view and it makes me want to share a profound spiritual truth: there is no such thing as a beautiful and kind world and there will never be.

Here’s why

Because our profound nature is to be Creative Beings and we are destined to BUILD a beautiful world, not to see it and enjoy it as spectators.

What doesn’t exist and that you miss is what you must create.

And the more you create, the more the universe will let you see the world you want to live in. At least, you will get closer to it, if you follow your inner creative guidance.

An example, well anchored in our realities is that my websites are a reflection of the beauty and quality content I want to see online. So, since I started creating that, I no longer spend a minute waiting or dreaming of beautiful and meaningful websites, I make them. And this is what allows me to live in a world of quality content and then connect with other creators who are in the same vibration.

From that space, I help others create their own legacy through a beautiful and meaningful website so I amplify my own actions. And I only see the beauty of the online world.

We are the World!

The world is NOT our neighbors, not the people who are bothering us, not the events we are watching on TV, WE ARE THE WORLD!

The world isn’t an external thing happening to us, it is what we are creating.

It’s a tough one, I hear you, but when you understand that subtle and loving way the universe has to send you messages, it’s real.

Being frustrated with what’s going on in the world is just a painful reminder to you that you’re not focusing on the right things.

What are your battles? Which ones are NOT your battles? Make sure you identify that properly.

Where do you have a chance to WIN? That’s an important question to ask yourself too. We all want things that are not possible. Be wise and learn how to make the difference between where you can make a difference and where it’s not in your power.

Focus on where you are important, where you have knowledge that can serve others and where you can play a Positive & Active Role in the World.

We are the World – let’s read this Song Lyrics & Meditate on their Deep Meaning

There comes a time
When we heed a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
Oh, and it’s time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all

We can’t go on
Pretending day-by-day
That someone, somewhere soon make a change
We’re all a part of God’s great big family
And the truth, you know, love is all we need

We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me

Oh, send them your heart
So they know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
And so we all must lend a helping hand

We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let’s start giving
Oh, there’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me

When you’re down and out, there seems no hope at all
But if you just believe there’s no way we can fall
Well, well, well, well let us realize
Oh, that a change can only come
When we stand together as one, yeah, yeah, yeah

We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me

We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and mee

We are the world (are the world)
We are the children (are the children)
We are the ones who’ll make a brighter day, so let’s start giving (so let’s start giving)
There is a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me

Oh, let me hear you!

The Story Behind “We Are the World”

In 1985, the world witnessed an unprecedented musical collaboration that aimed to make a difference on a global scale. “We Are the World,” a charity single recorded by USA for Africa, brought together some of the biggest names in the music industry to raise awareness and funds for famine relief in Africa.

The Vision

The idea for “We Are the World” was conceived by Harry Belafonte, a renowned singer and activist, who was inspired by the success of Band Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” Belafonte aimed to create an American counterpart that would mobilize resources to combat the devastating famine in Ethiopia. He reached out to music manager Ken Kragen, who then enlisted the songwriting talents of Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. The project quickly gained momentum, attracting the involvement of legendary producer Quincy Jones.

The Recording Session

On January 28, 1985, over 45 of the most influential artists of the time gathered at A&M Recording Studios in Hollywood to record the song. The roster included icons such as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Diana Ross, Bruce Springsteen, and Bob Dylan, among many others. The session was marked by a sense of unity and purpose, as these artists set aside their individual egos to contribute to a cause greater than themselves.

The Song

“We Are the World” is a heartfelt anthem that calls for global solidarity and compassion. Written by Jackson and Richie, the song’s lyrics emphasize the shared responsibility of humanity to help those in need. Its memorable chorus, “We are the world, we are the children,” became a rallying cry for humanitarian efforts worldwide.

Impact and Legacy

Upon its release on March 7, 1985, “We Are the World” quickly became a commercial success, topping charts around the globe. It sold over 20 million copies and raised more than $63 million for famine relief and humanitarian aid. The song’s impact extended beyond its immediate financial contributions, as it also inspired a wave of similar charitable efforts in the music industry.

“We Are the World” remains a powerful example of how art and activism can intersect to bring about positive change. It demonstrated that when artists unite for a common cause, their collective voice can resonate across the globe, inspiring action and fostering hope.

In today’s world, the message of “We Are the World” is as relevant as ever. It serves as a reminder that through compassion, unity, and creativity, we can address the most pressing challenges facing humanity.
