My Creative Journey towards a full Brand update with a Spiritual Entrepreneur

I’ve met Martin in a community where we were coached to develop our businesses.

I’ve felt connected to his spontaneity during the cohort sessions and went to listen to what he was sharing online, attended his workshops, etc.

Then, I saw his logo on LinkedIn and to me, it felt like it reflected a totally different world than what I had heard and received from him!

I was interested in his work and felt I belonged to his large avatar but his current communication didn’t attract me and it seemed like it belonged to another era and was for another group of people.

And this often happens because we move on a lot during an entrepreneurial journey, we transform ourselves and then suddenly, we realize our brand doesn’t reflect who we are anymore…

So with Martin, we’ve moved from here:

This logo was bringing the word Financial first while Heart Space was relegated to a second position while all the events I had attended were about finding and living in our Zone of Genius, about mindfulness, meditation, finding love within ourselves, etc.

So I’ve created of first version of what his brand could look like if I connected to my own feelings and let my imagination go. And of course, what came out first was quite feminine.

Then, I’ve left a few days pass and I’ve realized I may have another idea and that I would try to do something that would look more like my client! Something else based on his personality and a few things he told me about.

Bringing some personal elements into your branding

Something special in his personality had caught my attention: he often wears a bow tie, especially during his interviews and I thought it was something personal we could use in his communication so people could connect with him from his graphics.

Then, I thought I should use more masculine shapes because they were mainly a team of men and they needed to recognize themselves in the brand.

The Spiritual Elevation he teaches brings some sharpness to the mind so it had to be reflected in the logo.

So after 50 drafts, this is where we have arrived and we are so happy about it!!

Podcast Title – Name it effectively!

We’ve brainstormed on the Podcast name. It had to change because initially, it was called “The truth about money” but the entrepreneur’s message had changed a lot since then as he had become a spiritual teacher.

We agreed on the “I am the Universe Podcast” by Martin Cowart because “I am the Universe” was his powerful and new mantra and what his work was based on to empower people as a coach.

So it’s been such an incredible journey, with a professional relationship that has been very kind, nice and uplifting for both of us and I just pray to find more people like Martin and his team to help about the Communication & Branding again!
