I saw this company’s logo online, checked what the entrepreneur was doing – helping people reduce their energy bills – and thought all the ideas and colors were great and right.

But there was a readability problem. And I’ve thought this was exactly what Eminergy could do to make it better!

The colors choice is good. It’s very dynamic and I like the pictos that show exactly what this company can do for people. It just needs to be set in a slightly different way.

The 1st draft version

Below is the first draft version I showed the client for a discussion to improve it to reach the final version.

I started to create a new version based on what I could see while keeping the same colors, the same type of drawings but bringing more clarity and adding the name of the company on it.

I’ve thought it was a shame not to have the name of the company on such a clear logo with some black space around. Especially on social medias, the entrepreneur could benefit from more contacts with his company’s name if he had it on his logo.

The final version after the client’s feedbacks

From my first version, the client spotted that this logo was missing some blue in it, which was important to him and for his brand’s colors. Then the lightening was wished to be yellow and the – ‘s – was meant to be kept.

These little small adjustments were good and relevant because it took us to a few new versions of the logo that I really like. Some with the gradient effect, some with the whole letter in blue, some with both colors in the letter D.

So the client can take a while to think about the different options because there are some creativity phases and then it’s important to sleep on the creations a few nights, then making some new arrangements before making a final decision.

Most of the time, creativity is a process. An energy searching its own way.

I do some part of the work on my own, then I offer a draft version and from there, we can work together towards the right and final version that you will really like and enjoy.
